Dee Jay shoulders

Pastor Dee Jay Shoulders is the Senior Pastor of First Apostolic Church in Nashville, TN.  He transitioned into the role of Senior Pastor fifteen years ago after serving under his father and Pastor, Bishop Billy D Shoulders. He and his father co-wrote the book "Transitioning Well" in which they go into detail about the transitioning period. Pastor Shoulders has traveled abroad to countries such as Argentina, Chile, Bangladesh, Canada, Mexico, India, and Lebanon to preach the Gospel and share the good news of Jesus Christ.   

Pastor Shoulders believes in serving the community.  He does so by serving as a Volunteer Chaplain for the Metro Nashville Police Department.  He also serves as the Chairman of the Associated Brotherhood of Christians.  

Pastor Shoulders has been married to his high school sweetheart for 27 years. They have two sons, Preston 22 and Peyton 19.
